What is stockholm syndrome ?
The psychological tendency of a hostage to bond with, identify with, or sympathize with his or her captor. This develops over a course of days , weeks, months or even years of captivity or abuse.

A criminal Jan-Erik olsson walks in to a bank ...
Pulls out a gun and takes four bank workers hostage and demand to get away 🚘 💰 and for an accomplice to be freed from prison..and rushed over to join him at bank 🏦Police snipers surrounded the bank....criminals retreat with the hostages into the bank vault.
A police man creeps inside and slams the vault door shuts ......locking both captors and hostages inside.... this is were it gets weird.

from inside the vault one of hostages, KRISTIN ENMARK phones the swedish prime minister and begs for captors to be allowed to escape
BIZARRELY - she says she wants to go with them but prime minister refuses ❌
👮♂️ police prepare to storm the vault.. the criminals agree to come out but their hostages offers to act as human sheilds..protecting their captors from being shot 🔫
Later .. hostages would refuse to testify in court against them and even rise money for their defence✋
This psychological response becomes known as Stockholm syndrome...
